As part of its new product development and market expansion efforts, PT Mustika Ratu Tbk (MRAT) has entered into a partnership with SUGI Holdings, a leading company listed on the Japan Stock Exchange, which has a subsidiary named SUGI Pharmacy.

SUGI Pharmacy operates in the sale of pharmaceuticals, health foods, cosmetics, and daily necessities, and currently runs more than 1,700 stores across Japan.

MRAT, a public company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), is known as a producer of beauty, herbal (jamu), and health products made from Indonesia’s natural plant-based ingredients.

Through this collaboration with SUGI Holdings, MRAT aims to introduce proven Japanese technological innovations and create synergy with local Indonesian products.

The products resulting from this collaboration will obtain halal certification and be marketed globally, particularly in countries that have traditionally been MRAT’s export destinations.
